Arete Archery competed in the NASP Western Nationals over the weekend in Sandy, Utah, competing against Archers from all over the western United States. The Archway team's excellent performance qualified them for the World Championships in Dayton Beach Florida this June, for both bullseye and 3D.
Prep Middle School and High School qualified for the World Championships in the 3D event as well!
Additionally, 14 archers shot new personal bests with Aaron Adamo, Evelyn Hendricks, Everett Jerry, Gauge Murphy and Sean Widner advancing individually in the World Championships.
A few of our top finishes included:
Sean Widner - 9th of 129 in 3D, 47th of 378 in Bullseye, 13th of 156 in Bullseye Championships
Evelyn Hendricks- 9th of 112 in 3D, 48th of 374 in Bullseye, 3rd of 152 in Bullseye Championships
Matthew Hillquist- 68 of 417 in Bullseye
Everett Jerry- 44th of 305 in Elementary Bullseye
Guage Murphy- 64th of 305 in Elementary Bullseye
Genevieve Thus- 53 of 291 in Elementary Bullseye
JJ Olson- 81 of 305 in Elementary Bullseye
