Congratulations to Arete Archery who after a successful state tournament, have once again qualified teams and individuals for the NASP (National Archery in the School Program) Western Regionals. Regionals will be held in Sandy Utah the weekend of 4/25-4/26. 

State Tournament Results and Qualifications:

Elementary 3D: 3rd Place Team 

Eleanor Wray-Wallace: 2nd Place Girls

Elementary Bullseye: 2nd Place Team 

Eleanor Wray-Wallace: 3rd Place Girls

Middle School 3D: 1st Place Team 

Evelyn Hendricks 1st Place Girls

Middle School Bullseye: 2nd Place Team 

Evelyn Hendricks 1st Place Girls

Evelyn also won the "Brass Ring" for being the top overall female shooter at the State Tournament. The Brass Ring is awarded to the highest scoring boy and girl at a tournament ran by AZ Game & Fish. The award at the State Championship Tournament is the coveted red bow issued by NASP to every state where the program exists.

Evelyn scored a 289 out of a possible 300 in the 3D event, which was the highest girl's score out of 254 girls at the State Championship. 

NASP is confirming, but Evelyn may be the first shooter in Arizona history to win the State Brass Ring (bow) back to back years. Evelyn also won the Brass Ring at the 2/15 NASP Qualifier Shoot.
