Arete Prep is proud to meet, and in some years exceed the national average in graduating student athletes going on to compete in college athletics at the JUCO, NAIA, and NCAA levels. We currently have 9 recent grads competing in college athletics. Here is an update on our "Next Level Chargers."

Adam Whitehead, Class of ‘20

Last season Adam’s Dallas Baptist XC team placed 2nd at Lone Star Conference championships with Adam receiving all conference honors.  

For track Adam was named to the LSC all-academic team.

For indoor track Adam was named to the LSC all-conference team.

Davis Weir, Class of ‘21

Davis is competing for Harding University in Searcy, AR where he is a Sophomore this year, majoring in International Business.  

Last year, he tore his meniscus on both knees, but has fully recovered from surgeries and is earning time off the bench for the Bisons.

Matthew McClelland, Class of ’21

Matthew is playing NCAA D1 football at Morehead State (KY) as a Red Shirt Freshman. He has earned a lot of snaps at Free safety and earned his first career sack at San Diego last weekend.

Jack Bellomy, Class of ‘21

Jack is a Sophomore playing NCAA III Football, at Lewis and Clark (OR) and continues to compete for snaps at the running back position.

Lillie Whitehead, Class of ‘21

Last year the Judson Eagles made it to the NCCAA national soccer tournament.  The year before they were CCAC conference champs and made it to the NAIA  tournament. In her Junior year lillie is seeing time as a midfielder for the Eagles.

Tania Davidson, Class of ‘21

Tania (JR) returns to Franciscan University (OH) as the reigning conference (PAC) Player of the Year. She is Franciscan’s first every POY and as a Sophomore, led the conference in scoring with 20 goals, placing her 11^th in all of NCAA DIII Soccer.

Kalen George, Class of ‘22

Kalen is back at University of Maine, Fort Kent for her sophomore volleyball season. UMFK made it all the way to the National Title game in her Freshman season. She earned team most improved honors in her initial season as well.

Aiden is playing football locally, at Ottawa University (Phoenix, AZ) as a linebacker.
